Behind The Design

We wanted to create a bowl that was both an art object with an utterly utilitarian design and a warm, personal item. These hand-glazed bowls beg for open shelving and dinner parties where they can be shown off to friends and family. Their soft, hand sculpted lip and dense body exude both utility and approachability. These bowls are perfect for everyday use as well as your most important special occasion dinner.

    Love my little bowls

    I bought two sets in two colors and wasn’t sure what I’d do with them. Now I’m glad I have eight because seven are always in the dishwasher! I added my sunglasses for sizing help!

    Why did I get these?

    Supporting a ceramic business is my thing and I bought two sets of these in two colors. We use them all the time. Sauce? Yes please! Eight malted milk balls after dinner? Yes please? Small little lunch portion? Yes please! Thank heavens I have eight because seven are always in the dishwasher!

    Beautiful!

    Perfect little bowl for meal prep for garlic, ginger, spices, etc. I also use it for peanut butter so I'm not dipping my crackers directly in the jar!

    So cute!

    The tenmoku glaze has depth, beautiful variations and texture. The spice bowl is pretty tiny - big enough for soy sauce for dipping sushi, or prepping spice mix for cooking. Not big enough for a snack. An adorable addition to my table/counter/cabinet.
